Gardener Hand Soap Recipe

Gardeners Hand Soap Recipe
Gardens Hand Soap cut and ready to label for the market

This recipe is the perfect soap for the most avid gardeners.  Made with 100% natural oils, a natural exfoliant, and essential oils picked out, especially for those gardening hands.

I love gardening and don’t like to wear gloves, one reason is that I can never find a pair that will fit my tiny hands and well…..I just like to get my hands in the dirt as well.

So for yourself or the Gardener, you know…this is the perfect soap.

I created this recipe for myself and after a few trials and errors, this is the Gardeners Soap Recipe I began to make and sell.  This is one of my most popular soaps and sells out at most every market!  You will love it!

Gardener soap will help to keep your hands soft and smooth through the growing season.

This is one of the most popular soaps in the spring.

Using the basic recipe #5

The Oils

  • 1134 grams of Palm Oil
  • 907 grams of Olive Oil
  • 794 grams of Coconut Oil
  • 100 grams of Grapeseed Oil
  • 85 grams of Almond Oil

The Lye/Water Mix

  • 4.8 cups (1125 grams) of Water
  • 427 grams lye

Scent and Additives

  • 1/2 cup Poppy Seeds
  • 2 oz of essential oils (I use 1/2 Lemon and 1/2 Rosemary)

The Poppy Seeds can be added when you add the Essential Oils

Gardener’s soap will gently clean and with the poppy seeds added will scrub without the abrasiveness of pumice.

The Rosemary and Lemongrass Essential Oils make this a clean and refreshing scented soap. Rosemary is also suitable for eczema and muscle pain while Lemongrass is a refreshing, cleansing oil with antiseptic properties.
