Hemp Seed Oil Uses

Hemp Seed Oil Uses

The Benefits of Using Hemp Seed Oil in Skin Care

Have you ever used hemp lotion or hemp soap? My skincare regimen consists largely of these products. It makes a big positive impact on the look and feel of my skin.

Although the hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds of a cannabis plant it does not contain any THC and will not alter your mental state. This allows it to be used throughout the day if needed.

Benefits of Hemp Seed

The oil from hemp contains 21 amino acids and omega 3 and omega 9 fatty acids. These provide your skin with the necessary supplements your body needs to maintain health and vitality.

Here are some of the benefits of hemp when used in your daily skincare routine.

Moisturize Your Skin

Hemp oil is similar to the oils that are found naturally in our skin. It is naturally balanced which allows for us to use it as a moisturizer without drying out the skin. It allows your skin to naturally balance itself over time.

Many other moisturizing products cause your pores to become blocked by the product. When this happens it can cause your skin to break out.

Luckily, a natural oil can moisturize our skin without clogging our pores. It absorbs into the skin effortlessly.

Hemp Seed Oil helps to create a barrier on your skin preventing you from losing moisture. Think of it as a waterproof barrier. This makes it the perfect way to moisturize our skin.

Prevent and Treat Acne

We can use hemp oil orally and topically to help reduce acne outbreaks. Basically, you can prevent acne from the inside out.

When we consume it in its unrefined form, the oil can help reduce acne in two ways. Your skin will begin balancing its oil production.

Less oil = less acne. The oil contains gamma-linolenic acid which helps level out hormone production reducing hormone-causing acne.

When you allow your body to balance oil production and level out hormones, you reduce the occurrence of acne.

You can also use the oil externally to reduce acne by reducing oily skin. Our skin naturally secretes sebum from our glads.

This oil hardens trapping dirt in our pores which causes acne. The oil provides nutrients to reduce sebum while still hydrating the skin and not clogging its pores.

If you already have an acne outbreak, it works wonders in reducing the redness that comes along with it.

Reduces Skin Irritations

Dry and itchy skin can be annoying. Chemical-based moisturizers and treatments are harsh on your already sensitive skin.

If you are looking for a natural treatment for skin irritation, a natural oil product is something you should consider.

It hydrates dry skin without using products that contain artificial perfumes or coloring.

Many times our body lacks omega fatty acids. Hemp seed oil has a high concentration of Linoleic (62% composition) and alpa-linolenic acids.

This helps to reduce skin inflammation and leave your body restored to a healthy state.

Provides Needed Nutrients

Hemp seed oil helps your body inside and out by providing you with nutrients that help your body become balanced and healthy.

Here are some of the nutrients you will get by taking this natural oil.
Vitamin A and E
Zinc
Potassium
Iron
Calcium
Antioxidants

As you can see, the benefits of hemp in moisturizers and other skincare products are amazing.

Your skin will look and feel healthy while allowing your body to naturally become more balanced.

We can look radiant while still using natural products like hemp soap and hemp lotion.
